You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Who can turn the world on with a smile?

Today's the 70th birthday of Mary Tyler Moore, star of her eponymous, multi-Emmy winning 1970s CBS sitcom and co-star of the (also multi-Emmy winning) The Dick Van Dyke Show.

Mary was born in Flatbush, Brooklyn (not Minnesota!). Her birth name was Mary Moore -- she added a middle name after several early TV appearances.

She "grew up" in television. In 1955, she was a dancing dancing kitchen appliance -- Happy Hotpoint, the Hotpoint Appliance elf -- in commercials usually broadcast during The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet.

Moore had the lead voice role (as Granny Rose) in the English-language dub of the 1996 cartoon movie La Freccia Azzurra, also known as The Blue Arrow and How the Toys Saved Christmas. Every Christmas Eve, Granny Rose helps Santa deliver toys to little girls and boys. But Granny Rose gets sick and asks Mr. Grimm to take over this most important job.

She portrayed herself in the animated 1998 TV special Rosie O'Donnell's Kids Are Punny, which was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Children's Program.

Moore guested in a pair of King of the Hill episodes. In 1999's Revenge of the Lutefisk, Mary was the voice of a new minister. Bobby suffers enormous guilt after he consumes all of the new reverend's lutefisk and inadvertently burns the church to the ground. She was also in Won't You Pimai Neighbor(2000), in which Bobby becomes "Little Buddha."

"Pain nourishes courage. You can't be brave if you've only had wonderful things happen to you." -- Mary Tyler Moore
