You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

In only two years, Vancouver Animation School has shot to the top list of schools to attend in Canada.

The registered institution of higher education was recognized recently by the Canadian Internet Registration Authority as the winner of the CIRA Impact Award for elearning in 2012.

"It is a tremendous honor for us," said Vancouver Animation School founder and CEO Mario Pochat. "I am very excited to accept this great honor on behalf of our 20 instructors all over the world, including our two Emmy winners and VES (Visual Effects Society) Award-nominated faculty."

Vancouver Animation School took the top honors among more than 800 entries for the award. The key to success was the fact that the fully interactive online campus simulates a studio setting; thus, it is easier for the graduates to transition to careers in the real world.

"Our online students and faculty actually share a lot of face-to-face interaction, which is rare for elearning applications," Pochat said. "Our school obviously brings great technology to students, but more than that, it also creates additional opportunities by connecting amazing teachers with the next generation of talent -- our students."

For students, the virtual elearning platform allows them to process learning on their own busy schedule and enables students to save money.

"We can deliver a world-class animation education at less than half price of our other competitors," Pochat said. "The online platform is truly our competitive advantage that we happily pass on to our enthusiastic students."

The CIRA Impact Award for elearning helps to further strengthen the leadership position that the school has quickly attained in the education of future animators. Created with 20 of the top creative animation minds from all over the world, including Emmy-winning faculty, Vancouver Animation School is quickly establishing itself as the top school in its field in Canada.

"We are very excited about further developing our platform to provide the best online education for students in Canada," Pochat said. "Our Internet delivery platform truly enables our students to learn the most advanced technological tools that are developed for the animation, visual effects and video game industries."

Vancouver Animation School is registered by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency of British Columbia. The school is currently accepting applications for the July and September sessions.
