You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Let the CrazyCam declare this thread the official discussion page for the recently made "Scooby Doo, Mystery Incorporated"! Yeah, I can give orders around too, ya know. [IMG] But yeah, I didn't bother to check if there were any other discussion pages about the show, so here it is. And I have too much to say about it....so I will cut back a bit.

Okay, so I kinda like the subplot concept they put into the show. After all, it's been painfully obvious that Fred and Daphne were hitting it off. And it's good to see they go to school, rather than being 16 year old dropouts. Morals and values are fine with me. Don't expect me to follow them, but hey, the intended audiences should! [IMG] The monsters aren't the worst, but the artists definitely got lazy. In fact, even the whole art looks lazy. The gang looks skinnier and somehow worse than the art back in 1969. How did they screw that up so badly? It's 2010! C'mon, put some effort into it all! But anyway, the monsters...hmm, what does everyone else think about them? Cool, boring, passable, awesome?

The music is fine, I guess. Not memorable, but nothing too obnoxious. The voices are mostly pretty good. Frank Welker is still Fred. Matthew Lillard, who played Shaggy in the embarrassing live action movies, reprises his role. Velma and Daphne sound...reasonable. Casey Kasem, the original Shaggy, pops in as Shaggy's dad, I think. I definitely remember him in the credits. Scooby's voice is kinda weak though. Also played by Frank Welker, I dunno. I just don't find him as fun as usual.

But I have reasons for thinking that. Scooby probably lost all joy in the world when he immediately recognized this plot hole in the series: Shaggy and Velma are dating. I am dead serious. [IMG] This is the animated lady that makes Rosie O'Donnell look like Paris Hilton, and they cram in a relationship between her and SHAGGY?! I even watched the episode where the prom is being held, and Shaggy is still having seconds thoughts about going to it with her. Not like he'd choose someone else, but he detects how utterly wrong it is to date the world's most obvious lesbian EVER. I think they wanted those rumors to go away with this, but it only makes the cartoon company look like they want to hide something from us Scooby Doo fans. TSK ON A STICK TO THEM! So uh, what does everyone else think about that? Should Shaggy and Velma's relationship be deep fried or grilled?

As much as I love the traditional style of cartoons, two dimensional characters can be rather frustrating sometimes. Exhibit A: [IMG]
