Editorial Review:

Album Description:
Official 2009 release of the 13th album from the Canadian Heavy Metal band featuring one bonus track: 'Thumb Hang'. The recording of this album is documented in the critically acclaimed documentary, The Story Of Anvil. Forming in 1982, Anvil released one of the heaviest albums of all time Metal On Metal - influencing some of the biggest names in Rock including Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax. But while those bands went on to sell millions of albums and achieve international fame, Anvil's career took a different path - straight to obscurity. Their 25+ career has led to this album and renewed interest in the band thanks to the overwhelming response to the documentary.

Customer Reviews

Good stuff! 4 out of 5 stars
As a kid I remember seeing one or to album covers at the record store but never bought one. Saw the movie and had to pick this up. Very cool, some where in between Motorhead and Megadeth.
