This full-length, 1964 movie was Hanna-Barbera's first animated theatrical release and features several songs including James Darren's rendition of "Ven-e Ven-o, Ven-a." Re-mastering gives this DVD a nice crisp picture. Kids and adults alike will delight in the crazy capers of Yogi Bear--escapades that revolve around satisfying Yogi's never-ending appetite and range from posing as the park's food inspector to unleashing special forces of trained picnic ants on unsuspecting picnickers. When Yogi's pranks go too far, Ranger Smith ships him off to the San Diego zoo, but things don't go quite as planned and Yogi ends up setting off on his own in pursuit of Cindy Bear while Boo Boo is left in Jellystone without his two closest frien! ds.
