Bolstered by Cate Blanchett's uncannily accurate portrayal of Katharine Hepburn as Hughes' most beloved lover, The Aviator is easily Scorsese's most accessible film, inviting mainstream popularity without compromising Scorsese's artistic reputation. Excellent movie, unsatisfying Ending
Fascinating and entertaining biography of Howard Hughes. My only complaint is that it ended abruptly, leaving me wanting to find out what happened after that; what happened during the rest of Hughes' life. If it weren't for the ending (or the lack thereof) I would have given it 5 stars.....
