The best direct to DVD from Marvel to date
Who would have thought that an animated direct to dvd movie about a B list Marvel superhero would turn out to be an almost poignant meditation on the themes of loss, recovery, and heroism? Dr. Strange pops up in a lot of Marvel comic books but we never really learn that much about how he became the sorcerer supreme. This film tells that story in detail.
