The book is not a fun read, dealing with research in a very technical and statistical way. Just the same, it meets the intent, providing a balanced and thorough profile of what is going on. There is something here for any interested person."An Ego-Psychological Theory of Hypnosis" by Erika Fromm was probably my favorite. "Dissociation and Theories of Hypnosis" by Ernest R.
